Many organic loose teas, locally roasted organic coffee, fresh made soup, cold brew and unsweetened ice tea. Everyone has a story and through experience, love, tears, laughter and joy, our story is no different than most. With God’s Grace, along with our family and friends, we are able to create memories which continue to enrich our lives and others with blessings and gratitude. Tom and Bea, owners of Bebe & Pop’s Thriving Hive met in 1986, married in 1988 and now, almost 35 years later, another chapter of our story begins. Growing up our families were quite similar. Our parents worked hard to instill the family values of faith, love, respect and community; and to this day we continue to strive to teach the values we have learned. Throughout our married years, our family dynamics evolved and we were blessed to have three children, Vicki, Tom and Anna. Our children have always and will always be our heart and soul. Our children’s spouses and partners, Mark, Steph & Tyler, have added more joy to our growing family. It was when we welcomed our grandchildren Lauren & Chase, that we realized how much more our hearts could overflow with LOVE, and so the chapter of PopPop & Bebe began. We have a love for family, tradition, community, food, nature, gardening and camping. Throughout our years we have committed to live that small town, rooted through our family and community. We have volunteered with many church and local organizations. We have traveled throughout the United States, most of the time with our camper in tow, and always looking for those small towns to experience adventure, both near and far. We love experiencing the local simple food, the history, the small Mom & Pop shops and the stories that followed them. We never knew if we would ever meet these people again but we gained a part of their life story as they shared and we listened. Bebe and Pop’s Thriving Hive offers many locally sourced items used to prepare our beverages and meal options. Fresh made coffee, sandwiches, soups and desserts are just a small taste of what will be available on the menu. Most of the meats that we offer in our café are also blended and prepared in house by Pop’s. Inspired by our beloved brother and uncle Bob, our menu smoothies are Uncle Bob’s “Secret Recipes”. Our specialty items will offer many locally made and hand crafted items. If you have ever visited Nana & Pop’s in Lewes DE, the owners, Tom & Sandy, happen to be Tom’s parents and Nana & Pop Pop to our children & grandchildren. Following in the footsteps of our parents we are honored to be offering Hershey's Ice Cream. Plan a day trip to Upper Black Eddy, PA and stop into Homestead Café, an adorable country shop resting aside the Delaware Canal and home to our house specialty coffee, Homestead Coffee Roaster. Another amazing family with community, faith and a story of their own! Our shop’s roots come from our family values. For many years, as a family, we have had so many traditions that we still take part in to this day. These traditions keep us close and help us to create and share lasting memories. Now, we are honored to bring those traditions to our community table where all are welcome! We thank everyone in advance for supporting our small business and hope to see you again soon!
