Last week, we told you to keep your eyes peeled because we had some exciting news to share. Well… here it is! ❤️

After an incredible journey with Little Italy Food Truck, we’re getting ready to turn the page and begin a new chapter.

After much thought and consideration, we have decided not to renew the lease on our food truck and we will officially be moving out of the truck at the end of October.

But Little Italy — and the food you’ve come to know and love — is not going away! ❤️

Damiana will continue doing what she does best — creating her amazing homemade meals, catering, special events, cheesecakes, holiday trays, special orders and more.

So please continue to reach out to us just as you always have! [email protected]

While I may be stepping away from the day-to-day business, I will always be cheering Damiana on — and I’m sure you’ll still find me lending a hand from time
to time when she needs me. ❤️

These past two years with the truck have been such a special chapter in our lives and we are incredibly grateful to every customer who visited us, ordered a meal, booked us for a community event, trusted us with their catering, recommended
us to friends and family, or simply supported us along the way.

This isn’t goodbye. It’s simply a new chapter for Little Italy. ❤️

And just to clear up any confusion — while the truck is no longer open to the public for daily service, we ARE still taking orders for catering, events, holiday trays, cheesecakes and special orders. [email protected]

WE’RE STILL HERE… AND WE’VE BEEN BUSY! 🇮🇹

It’s been a little quiet here on our page, but things certainly haven’t been quiet behind the scenes at Little Italy Food Truck!

Since stepping away from our daily location, we’ve been busy every week with catering, private events, and visits to some of our favorite local communities. ❤️

This past weekend, we had a great time serving at The Cove at Herring Creek, and this week we’re headed to Bethany Beach for a rehearsal dinner! 🍝

Coming up, we’ll also be catering for the wonderful faculty and staff at Phillip Showell Elementary School right here in Selbyville, and then we’re gearing up for a big wedding in early October! 💍🥂

So while you may not see us parked on Church Street every day anymore, Little Italy is still very much around—and staying busy!

And speaking of what’s next… 👀

❤️ AN IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM LITTLE ITALY FOOD TRUCK ❤️

We've received several phone calls and messages lately from customers asking if we are still open for daily service, so we wanted to take a moment to address that question and explain what is happening with Little Italy.

After giving this a LOT of thought, we have made the decision that FOR NOW we will no longer be opening the food truck for regular daily customer service.

This was not an easy decision, and we know some of our wonderful customers will be disappointed. We absolutely LOVE seeing all of you and serving our community. ❤️

The reason for this decision is actually a very positive one!

Our catering calendar has been filling up with requests, and we now have catering orders and events booked all the way through the beginning of October, including a very large wedding venue. We are incredibly grateful for every single catering order, event invitation, and community that has welcomed Little Italy into their neighborhood. 🇮🇹❤️

But the reality is… there are only two of us.

Between shopping, prepping, cooking, loading the truck, catering events, attending community events, cleaning, and everything that happens behind the scenes, we simply don't have the time or energy to keep the truck open for daily service AND keep up with the catering and events we have committed to.

FOR NOW, we have to make the business decision that makes the most sense for us. We need to put our time, energy, and resources where we can serve the most people and make the business sustainable.

So while you may not see us daily on the food truck on Church Street for regular daily service, Little Italy Food Truck is NOT closing! ❤️
