The Seguin Community Little Free Pantry is a little self-service free food pantry. We think it's important that folks can get food when they need it.

We are located by Artable Curiosities in the Seguin Schoolyard.

Dear neighbors, we have an announcement:
Our Sponsor Nonprofit, Artable Curiosities, is moving to a new location in town, and being part of their nonprofit umbrella, so is The Seguin Community Little Free Pantry! But we aren’t going far and we hope you will all continue to follow and support our efforts to make food available to all who need it.

I stopped by the pantry today. Way to come thru, neighbors! Y’all are awesome and I know everyone else feels the same way. Thank you so much!
Now, for those who’ve been holding off, we sure could use toiletries, and personal hygiene products! If everyone does a little bit, we will get thru the winter.

Hey. neighbors! Reinforcements have arrived! We are by no means full to the brim, BUT, We saved you a little space to bring in what you might have on hand. It’s getting to be that time of year when we need to make sure everybody gets fed.

Okay, friends, We are so empty right now that I’ve decided to take this opportunity go do a little housekeeping in the pantry. I didn’t realize till I could see the shelves how dusty they had gotten. So, I’m gonna clean house a a bit, then, y’all can bring your donations! Does that sound like a plan?

Hey there folks! Just a quick update on our Little Free Pantry:
The pantry is pretty sparse right now. What we DO have is many boxes of adult diapers, in case you know someone who is in need.
As a reminder: We can always use more protein items, canned or pouched tuna, chicken, ham, chili, and things kids like, individual cereal boxes, cheese crackers, fruit leather, raisins. Oh, and we are completely OUT of personal hygiene products! Thanks to all who give.

Wanted to share with our followers that the Crock Pot Donation Drive we promoted in August supplied us with 3 great vintage (yet functional) Crock pots AND we had 3 followers who requested a crock pot, so it all turned out perfect! We can’t thank y’all enough for answering the somewhat unusual call.
I made a Check-in at the Pantry today to see how things are going and below is a shot from this morning. Now, I want to ask you all, if you were shopping for your family at this Pantry, what would you like to see? Please share in the comments below. We have been offered a cash donation plus additional pantry items in the future and we need to plan how to best use these funds for shelf stable food that is wholesome, nutritious, and budget-friendly. Thanks for your contributions both physical and opinions.

We have gotten another Rival Crock Pot in our donation drive and it looks like the mama to the first one. Also in pristine condition and it’s about an 8 quart model. These things date back to around the 1970’s, when they first came out. Super simple and easy to care for. This one would be perfect for a larger family. Please let us know if you are interested in getting one and if you’ve got one to donate, now’s the time!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! Kind neighbors have graciously refilled the coffers of the Little Free Pantry. We are grateful and hope that our neighbors continue to check in on us! And don’t forget the Crock Pot Donation Drive!

Just an update: The pantry is fairly bare, and don’t forget about our Crock Pot Donation Drive! Please share!

Once again our pantry stores have dwindled. If you are so moved, some protein and kid-friendly food and personal hygiene products would be awesome! Also, this is day 2 of our Crock Pot Donation Drive. Already got folks signing up to get them. The need is real!
