Hi All!
I wanted to let ya’ll know that as my health situation progresses, the preliminary doctor appointments will be sporadic until I get situated with a proper treatment plan/team. I share all of this so that we, as a team, can be mindful that everyone has a full plate outside of the OR, ER, grill, coffee bar, hospital gown, security badge, etc.
I was at Overlake from Friday evening until Sunday night following a week of Covid and a prior infection that also sent me to the ER. And this is not irregular for me. Nor has it been for quite some time.
Peace Health is a place in which I want to grow roots and nurture my own physical health. Overall, Peace Health’s welcoming presence has been a breath full of hope for me. So, if absences are something that set a tone that serving your team is unimportant to me, my hope is that my transparency helps.
As appointments pop up, I will be updating the page and the cafeteria staff so that they can keep their board updated, too.
All of that being said, I want to be a listening ear to those who need me, but I don’t want to elaborate any further in the future about my medical stuff other than to communicate scheduling concerns.
You guys are honestly so supportive and I consider myself blessed a million ways over to be given this opportunity. I know how important your role in our community is, and I want that to be evident in the products and services provided to you.
My husband is going to assist me with a survey regarding menu items and hours of operation so that I can post the hours needed in the Want Ad. You will be seeing this shortly.
