While we are still cooking meals for firefighters, we also decided to donate funds from our Uptown fundraiser for the month of July to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. The Wildland Firefighter Foundation is dedicated to supporting the brave men and women who risk their lives to protect our forests, homes, and communities. They provide assistance to firefighters and their families in times of need. Their mission is to honor, support, and assist wildland firefighters and their families through financial aid, physical and emotional support, advocacy, and community. 🧡

In June we raised $229 for the Arizona Game and Fish “Send Water to Wildlife” initiative. Thanks to everyone who added to their tab to support our community! 🍻

We can’t say it enough - thank you to everyone who has helped us support the Pocket Firefighters! 🍻 The Pocket Fire is now over 75% contained and we are so grateful for everyone involved. We still have so many firefighter meals to give out so send them our way! 🚒

And as a friendly reminder, a lot of local businesses are struggling right now with the lack of tourism. Now is the perfect time for locals to venture out and explore the places they might avoid in busy season! 🧡

A little FAQ for anyone who is curious about our Pocket Fire fundraising thus far! 🔥 We really appreciate everyone who has been supportive and it has been so cool to meet over 100 of the firefighters who have been working to keep us all safe. 🚒

As a reminder, local businesses - especially those in Oak Creek Canyon who have had to close for the past few weeks - need your support now more than ever. We are so grateful that everyone is safe, but the fire is still impacting so many people in Sedona.

A few updates on Sedona Beer and the Pocket Fire! 🔥

* Both our Sedona Beer locations are still open! We are also open today - happy 4th! 🇺🇸
* We now have a few grab and go options available at Basecamp including salads and sandwiches! 🥪
* Basecamp will stay open slightly later as needed for firefighters! If you are on your way give us a call or stop in and check - if our cooks are still there we will make you food! 🍽️
* We’ve gotten a few questions about bringing food to crews - we fully support it but don’t have the resources at this time to initiate it ourselves. We have some grab and go sandwiches that you can pick up, just email [email protected] for more info 🚒
