The birth of Probiotic Cuisine is the result of an illness that suddenly appeared while holding a stressful executive position for a large corporation. From a super healthy woman, in a matter of weeks I was left in skin and bones, excruciating pain and having to rely in a wheel chair.
Although conventional medicine helped, it did not solve the problem. So, I took the matter on my hands by leaving my job and dedicating all of my time to do research. I educated in all possible areas of alternative and holistic medicine concentrating my attention in Detox, the function of mitochondrial cells in the gut and probiotics.
Soon I realized that at some point my body lost the ability to absorb nutrients due to a compromised gut; and not only that, the cell receptors would not recognize certain foods and treat them as invaders. As a result, an array of ailments manifested in my body.
Because of my background in food science I was able to successfully experiment with these creatures incorporating them in my regular meals yet without sacrificing the yumminess of it. I will not deny it took a lot of trials to come up with the right combinations of ingredients and bacteria strains... these creatures have a mind of their own and behave in such ways.
