As we served our final meals tonight, at 8 PM we closed our doors for the very last time.
SEBEWAING we thank you!
Thank you for supporting us, for bringing warmth into Peking City, and for making it feel like so much more than just a restaurant. You made it feel like home.
To everyone who made us a part of their weekly routine, whether it was enjoying a meal with your loved ones, grabbing takeout after a long day, or celebrating a special moment, thank you for letting us be a part of that. It was never just about the food. It was about connection, community, and the comfort that came from sharing those moments together.
The past 3 years have been filled with shared stories, laughter, and memories made across each table. We’ve watched friendships deepen, and new faces become familiar friends. Some of you came in weekly, some even daily, and you don’t know how much that meant to us. You kept us going, not just in business, but in spirit.
Today, so many of you came by to say goodbye, and we felt every hug, every kind word, every “thank you.” Please know, those feelings go both ways. We are beyond grateful for your love and support, especially on this last day, It made closing a little easier, and reminded us what we built here mattered.
On behalf of Oscar and myself, from the bottom of our hearts … thank you for allowing Peking City to be part of your lives. Thank you for supporting our dream. We will carry these memories, your smiles, and all the warmth you’ve given us wherever we go next.
This isn’t just goodbye, it’s thank you, we love you, and we’ll never forget you, we hope we cross paths again very soon.
