Interviewing, hiring & training is one of the harder parts of running a business. Fortunately, sometimes you luck out and somebody’s sibling is looking for a job. We still interview, but it’s hard not to want another one of these siblings, so yes, they came into interviews with lots of positives.🌸. We had a fantastic year with so many wonderful siblings working at Screamin Mimi’s. 💗🌸🙏 ❤️

We hate goodbyes… so instead we’ll say, “Safe travels and hope we see you again soon”. Life has some plans for many of our staff and we really feel it in late August & September. School, travel plans and life’s roads take some of your favorite Scoopers elsewhere. Have fun on your journeys!

At barely 1,400 square feet, the current Screamin’ Mimi’s shop serves as both production site and a customer parlor. Maraline Olson said she may have as many as 11 employees working on a busy summer day around a five-foot long…

Many years ago when we were first getting started inSonoma County, we entered our Crane Melon Ice Cream in the Harvest Fair. We won a Double Gold For that flavor. Years later I met a San Fransisco chef who told me he was a judge on that panel and remembered our Crane melon ice cream as the best ice cream he ever had. ☺️☺️

This is Screamin Mimi’s at 8:30 pm on 58° Wednesday evening in late August. School is back in session and summer is drawing to an end. “Why are you so busy when it’s cold outside? ” so many people ask. We like to think it’s because of our delicious product and our great service. And also it’s fun to go out and get ice cream! No reason to worry about the weather! cream
