A modern café nestled in the trendy Capitol Hill region of Seattle, Washington, Crux Café is the “turning point of all cafés”! Husband and wife Matthew and Mary Evans opened the café in 2011, with the idea of serving a healthy, gluten free menu to the people of Seattle. Matthew and Mary, along with their wonderful staff have made it their mission to offer not only the best food, but also the best

service in the area! The idea for the restaurant emerged when Mary was diagnosed with celiac disease in April of 2009. Instead of letting this news bring her down, she decided that she should find a way to not only help herself, but also help others who have the disease. The first idea that came to her mind was to open a café that served gluten free varieties of all of the foods that she loved. Two short years later, she and her husband found a modern building in Capitol Hill, bought it, and turned it into what is now one of the best places to eat in town!
