🚨 PO’BOY ROLL CALL 🚨

Pull up and get introduced to a few of the customer favorite Po’Boys we’re serving up at Po’Boy & Tings 👀🔥

In this video you’ll catch a glimpse of some heavy hitters:
🦪 Oyster Po’Boy – crispy, juicy, and straight out the fryer
🍤 Shrimp Po’Boy – golden shrimp stacked the right way
🐟 Catfish Po’Boy – Southern flavor in every bite
🍗 Chicken Po’Boy – crunchy, seasoned, and satisfying
🌱 Tofu Po’Boy – plant-based but still packed with flavor

And trust us… this is only a preview. We’ve got even more Po’Boy options on the menu waiting for you to discover. These are just a few of the picks our customers keep coming back for.

But before you pull up, here are 3 quick Po’Boy fun facts you might not know 👇

📜 Fun Fact 1 – The Name “Po’Boy”
Back in 1929 in New Orleans, two brothers who owned a sandwich shop started feeding streetcar workers who were on strike and had no money. Whenever one walked in they’d say, “Here comes another poor boy.” The sandwiches they made for them became known as “poor boys”… which eventually turned into “Po’Boys.”

🥖 Fun Fact 2 – The Bread Matters
A real Po’Boy is traditionally served on New Orleans–style French bread — crispy on the outside and soft on the inside so it can hold all that filling without falling apart.

🥬 Fun Fact 3 – “Fully Dressed” Is the Way to Go
In New Orleans, when you order a Po’Boy “Fully Dressed,” it means it comes dressed with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayo (we use Chef Sean’s secret sauce instead, a Seattle twist) — the classic way locals enjoy it.

Now that you know the history… it’s time to taste the tradition 😮‍🔥

📍 Pull up to Po’Boy & Tings

My father lived a life of service, purpose, and love. Born in LaPlace, Louisiana, he carried his roots with pride when he made Seattle his home more than five decades ago after serving our country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.

For more than 30 years, he served this city through the Seattle Police Department, rising to Lieutenant while mentoring and uplifting so many along the way. But titles never defined him — people did. He was “Coach,” “Popz,” and “Uncle Ronnie” to a community he poured into, always believing that a life well lived is measured by what you give to others.

To us, he was our foundation. A devoted husband, a proud father and grandfather, and the kind of man who made everyone feel seen, supported, and loved.

As we move forward, Po’ Boy & Tings will always run and serve our flavors in the name of my father. Every plate is part of his legacy — the love, the culture, the community, and the spirit he instilled in all of us.

We carry you with us in everything we do.
Rest well, Dad. Your impact lives on forever.
