Your Mail Deserves Better Than a Cold Metal Box 📬

Imagine this: you push open the door and something shifts. The air is warm and smells like fresh espresso and something sweet — chocolate, maybe, or the paper of a just-arrived package. Framed photos line the walls like old friends. Rows of artisan chocolate bars fan out in jewel-toned wrappers, daring you to choose just one. Vibrant greeting cards burst with color, stacked and leaning like they have something to say. And somewhere just behind the counter, a latte is being made — possibly for you.

This is where your mail lives.

Not in a sterile hallway. Not behind a lobby nobody loves. Here — at Sip and Ship, where picking up a package feels less like an errand and more like a little gift to yourself.

When you open a mailbox with us, you’re not just getting an address. You’re getting a destination — one where the person behind the counter knows your name, where you might discover a new favorite chocolate while you’re here, and where every visit reminds you that the small moments in a day can be genuinely lovely.

A secure address. A real community. A reason to smile on a Tuesday.

Whether you’re a small business owner who needs a professional address, someone in transition, or just a person who believes their mail deserves a better home — we’d love to be that for you.

Come in. Ask about our mailbox services. Stay for the coffee. ☕

Mountains in the distance. A steaming cup in the grass. A tiny figure standing at the edge of something vast. 🏔️☕

This is what it feels like to be seen by the natural world — and Charis Raine captures it in the palm of your hand.

She illustrates greeting cards from her home studio, by hand, with deep love for the earth and the humans who wander across it. Every card is printed on sustainable paper, made with eco-conscious care, and designed to carry feeling from one heart to another.

Woman-owned. LGBTQ+-owned. Quietly, beautifully radical.

Have a wild birthday. We think that’s the best kind. 🌿💛

Come find her cards at Sip and Ship — because some gifts say exactly what you couldn’t find words for.

What matters to you matters to us.

Seattle is welcoming the world.

This summer, FIFA brings some of the world’s top soccer clubs—and thousands of fans from across the globe—to our city. The matches will bring energy, excitement, and a meaningful boost to local businesses, restaurants, hotels, and neighborhoods throughout Seattle.

At Sip and Ship, we love what events like this represent: people coming together.

Every day, we have the privilege of meeting people from different backgrounds, experiences, and walks of life. A cup of coffee, a package to send, a conversation at the counter—these small moments are often where connection begins.

We built Sip and Ship on the belief that people enter as strangers and leave as friends, neighbors, and valued members of our community.

As Seattle opens its doors to the world, we’re proud to be a small part of what makes this city special: hospitality, connection, and a genuine sense of belonging.

Welcome to Seattle. Welcome to Sip and Ship.

Ask the business owner:

What have you learned to stop carrying with you after a tough day at work?

1. Mistakes — don’t get dwelled on. Take the lesson, leave the rest on the cutting floor. They build character, sharpen skills, strengthen resilience, and even help you laugh at yourself. They become feedback, not failure.

2. Challenges — they reveal something. They stretch thinking, build capability, and deepen relationships when handled well.

3. Other people’s success or changing opinions — it doesn’t shrink your path. It’s not a measure of your own pace or possibility.

Keep what moves you forward. Release what doesn’t. Carry the wisdom, not the worry.

💛 What’s a business question you’d ask another owner who’s been through it?

There’s something incredibly thoughtful about the cards and paper goods from The Good Twin. They didn’t arrive on our shelves by accident — they were created by someone who has believed in the power of meaningful connection since childhood.

Founder and artist Katie Wilson grew up making handmade cards for family and friends, turning everyday moments into something personal and memorable. That instinct eventually became The Good Twin — a line built from creativity, persistence, and a deep appreciation for beautiful design and human connection.

Every piece is hand-drawn by Katie herself, from the illustrations to the lettering. Her work blends retro botanicals, rich color, and playful natural elements — birds, mushrooms, daisies, grasshoppers — creating paper goods that feel warm, artistic, and full of personality.

Diana is especially drawn to this line because it feels imaginative, charming, and full of heart. There’s a lightness and joy to the collection that makes people stop, smile, and awaken contentment.

What also makes this brand resonate with us is the spirit behind it. Katie built The Good Twin independently, learning every side of the business while staying deeply committed to the creative process — something we understand and admire.

These aren’t just cards and paper goods. They’re little reminders that ordinary moments still deserve beauty, humor, care, and connection.

Better Paper Goods, indeed.

Meet Idlewild Co. — a woman-owned creative studio turning everyday paper goods and gifts into small works of art.

From sardine pillows to scalloped-edge notepads and lucky fish, each piece carries a sense of whimsy, detail, and unexpected charm that makes it instantly recognizable and deeply giftable.

Founded by artist & designer Katie Gastley, the brand is rooted in the belief that beautiful things should also make you smile.

Goods with character, indeed.

Hello Sip and Ship Community,

Over the past couple of months, we’ve been varying our café hours and experimenting with being open on Sundays to better support our team. When we looked honestly at the cost-benefit, the answer became clear: seasonal Sundays off is the right call — for our people, our business, and the community we’re building together. Creating time to step away, rejuvenate, and reset has become invaluable. We’re looking at the possibility of bringing Sunday hours back this spring or summer, so stay tuned. We’ll keep you posted!

While we’re open Monday through Saturday, there’s always so much to enjoy at Sip and Ship. Stop by for notary services, amazing homemade pastries, carefully curated cards and gifts, and an exceptional team that thrives on being a bright spot in your day.

And for those who can’t make it in person, we’ve made it easier than ever to connect with us virtually — our virtual mail services keep your mail and packages moving seamlessly, and our famous cookies are now available for purchase online. A little Sip and Ship magic, wherever you are.

Thank you for your continued support — it truly means the world to us.

With Gratitude,

Diana and Sip and Ship Team

The iconic ginger biscuit from Cafe Besalu has landed at Sip and Ship — and it’s every bit as good as you remember.

Flaky. Buttery. Perfectly spiced with that subtle ginger warmth that makes you pause mid-bite.

This isn’t just a cookie. It’s a little Ballard classic — now freshly baked, ready, and waiting for you.

Come savor this flaky gem with your morning coffee or grab a few to share (if you’re feeling generous).
