Indigenously sourced seafood in Pike Place Market! 🐟 Meet Brian Trask (Oglala Lakota), the new owner of Emmett Watson's Oyster Bar.

Since taking over this historic spot earlier this year, Brian has made a powerful change—sourcing clams, salmon, and most oysters from Indigenous suppliers, with a goal to eventually source all food products locally.

Brian hopes this change, along with bringing back an evening Happy Hour menu, will encourage locals and visitors to check out the casual oyster bar, which has the designation of being the first Oyster Bar in Seattle.

We’re thrilled to welcome Brian to the Pike Place Market community!

This Native American Heritage Month, stop by Emmett Watson’s Oyster Bar and enjoy $2 Agate Pearl Oysters sourced from the Suquamish Tribe. Let’s celebrate tradition, sustainability, and incredible flavor!
