How are we connected to Bruce Lee? It all started with his first student, Jesse Glover. 🥋

​Jesse was a regular at the King St. location, often swinging by after class with his students, including , for noodles and great conversation. They always sat at the same table. When Jesse passed, we commemorated that section as"Jesse Glover's Corner" to honor his legacy.

​Last week, we caught Young Dragon: A Bruce Lee Story at the Seattle Children’s Theater. Seeing Jesse as a character in the play was a special moment for us! We highly recommend checking it out—it runs through March 29th. 🐉🍜

Today is our baba’s first birthday in heaven. While our hearts are heavy, we can’t help but smile thinking about his incredible talent for fruit carving. He could take something ordinary and turn it into a masterpiece, just like he did for our family every day. We hope you’re carving something spectacular up there today, Baba. We miss your hands, your heart, and your art so much.

2025 was a year of loss and heartbreak. Baba had a big heart and was a pioneer who paved the way for future generations. Thanks to Seattle Met Magazine for remembering him. ❤️
