When the sweater weather comes around it’s kind of a given that our French Onion Soup and Grilled Cheese are automatic good bets….but, you definitely don’t want to sleep on our other comforting classics like the Spicy Chicken Parm or a bowl of our Mac and Cheese - they don’t just get the job done, they’re equally as cozy and comforting as a seat at one of our fireplaces looking over the park, and of course they’re delicious!

Come brave the weather and watch the final games of the World Series with us!

The Loaded Hawaiian and a plate of Wings are a perfect accompaniment to watching the game. Help us cheer on the M’s tomorrow as they take on the Blue Jays for game 1 of the ALDS. It might be a rainy weekend but it’s cozy inside and we’ll have the game on the tv’s - of course we’ll also have pizza and wings on hand too! Cheer and Go !!

Our menu may not change entirely with the seasons, but we are always excited to bring back a few favorites every year and now that the solstice is officially behind us, fall flavors are in full effect!

We are pleased to feature the French Onion Soup and French Onion Grilled Cheese once again this season and our new Autumn Salad is already a crowd favorite. This might be one of the last great weekends of the year that the patio doors are wide open, come grab a seat and catch a game on one of the screens with us this weekend! Cheers ya’ll!

There’s something about autumn that makes me crave a crisp seasonal cocktail and a good pizza. Throw a ballgame into the mix and it just doesn’t get much better.

Summer in Seattle may not be gone just yet, but today we are bringing back one of our fall classics, The French Onion Grilled Cheese.

We get enough requests for this one year round that despite the cool weather not quite hitting us just yet it still feels right and it’s a bonus that the French Onion Soup is back on the menu too! There’s just something about dunking a cheesy dip in soup that hits right where it counts.

It’s hard to believe that the dog days of summer are already upon us here in Green Lake - but we’re here for it, and you too!

Brock’s last night!

It’s hard to put into words what has meant to this space, both as Shelter before us and in the time since we took over. I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of knowing and working closely with Brock for a good amount of that time and I can say with certainty that there are very few people in the restaurant industry who can do all of the things he does and do it with the kindness and care that we’ve all been lucky to witness over the years.

On any given night you could find him behind the bar, at the host stand, on the line calling out tickets or just managing the whole thing. He’s the dude behind our holiday event, making and building most of the stuff you see in there. And he’s the guy that’s cared deeply about the staff and customers through all of the ups and downs this space has experienced.

We’re sure gonna miss him but tonight we’re gonna celebrate his years here and the next chapter for him and his family in Tucson. He’ll be behind the bar one more time and we’ll be there for some big Brock hugs, we hope to see a few of your faces too!

The hot honey chicken.
 Funny enough, this menu item came from brunch — and to be honest, we never really liked doing brunch.

But sometimes, just showing up and doing the thing, even if it’s not your favorite, leads to unexpected wins.

Every time I look at this sandwich, I see the a ‘silver lining’. A reminder that not everything goes to plan, and that’s okay. Because sometimes the detour gives you something special even though it wasn’t your intended destination.

Hot, crispy, sweet, tangy… and kind of a metaphor.
