Today, October 1, will be our final day of operations at Tutta Bella Downtown Seattle.
After a great deal of thought, we’ve made the decision not to reopen Downtown tomorrow, October 2. Reservations are now closed. This gives our Downtown team the time and space they deserve to finish this chapter together, take care of one another, and close their restaurant with the same care they have given it and our guests.
To our Downtown team: thank you. We know that changes like this affect real people, and we are incredibly grateful for the work, heart, hospitality, and commitment you have given Tutta Bella. You have been an important part of our story, and that will not be forgotten.
And to our guests and the Seattle community — thank you for showing up for us.
The response over these past ten days has been extraordinary. Columbia City is completely booked through its final day, and seeing so many familiar faces come through our doors, share memories, hug our team members, and enjoy another meal with us has meant more than we can put into words. We are deeply grateful.
While we are saying goodbye to two very special restaurants, we are not saying goodbye to Tutta Bella.
We are excited about what comes next and incredibly committed to the future of this company. Tutta Bella continues at Wallingford, Issaquah and Bellevue, and we want you there. We want to continue serving you, hearing from you, celebrating with you and sharing great Neapolitan food around the table.
If you were hoping for a Friday night at Columbia City or Downtown and weren’t able to get a table, please come see us at Wallingford. We’d love nothing more than to welcome you.
And please keep talking to us. Tell us what you love. Tell us what you miss. Tell us what you’d like to see next. Reach out to me directly. We want to know what matters to our guests because you are an important part of where Tutta Bella goes from here.
To every guest who has walked through our doors, every team member who has taken care of them, and everyone who has supported Tutta Bella through this moment:
Thank you. Truly.
There is a lot of history behind us, and there is still so much ahead. ❤️
