We are so grateful for everyone who has supported us all of these years on our journey! We've had the great fortune to see families, and their fur babies return year after year.....watching new parents having their first baby whose baby is now in their senior year. Today's a Big day for us at Barefoot BBQ! We are celebrating our 15-year anniversary of serving our amazing BBQ to a community of locals and guests from out of town where we've built lifelong relationships! We've watched children grow from the bellies of their beautiful moms to high school students, couples evolve from dating to now being married for over a decade, and witnessed so much beautiful growth within our community. We've, also, lost loved ones along the way, & survived ecologic & economic tragedy. Throughout it all, we have been grateful to celebrate Life, & to offer comfort & healing when necessary with our community near & far 💞🫶🏼💞

Happy 13th B-Earthday to Barefoot BBQ & our amazing team family! It seems apropos that we opened on Earth Day as we have done our best to be a leader in the community using quality ingredients and eco to-go containers. Furthermore, we have been so blessed in this community to have had a Lucky 13 years of thriving business that would be impossible without a great family team at work, wonderful guests, and an amazing supportive community! 🙏🙏 The kids who vandalized and stole from Barefoot BBQ & other Seaside businesses & property have been identified and charges are pending! Thankful for accountability! 😊

If you happen to see these kids out and about, please call WCSO or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers. Thankfully, while we are still operational, they extensively vandalized the restaurant, and stole a variety of items. They, also, hit The Meltdown, Frostbites, the Tesla charging station, and destroyed property around Seaside. I feel very confident that they will be found as they were not the brightest thieves in the pot, but we certainly appreciate your assistance locating them.

While it was disappointing to say the least that these kids did this to Barefoot BBQ & other businesses & property, we hold space for the understanding that these kids don't represent the majority. It is unfortunate when the outliers of any group reflect badly on the whole. Undoubtedly, the 18 and under population are heavily represented as guests at Barefoot BBQ throughout season, and we believe that we treat them with more respect than many businesses do. As a matter of fact, over the years, several kids have directly thanked my business partner for their appreciation of feeling welcome at Barefoot. We will continue to believe in the best of these young guests. That said, we will hold These kids...& any others who cause damage &/or loss to ourselves & surrounding businesses...accountable.

We wish for a safe and happy season with a healthy dose of integrity and respect for All, & we look forward to the spring/summer season of 2022! Be kind. Have fun. But hold onto integrity & decency. Money can't buy the latter, and it's not easily regained once lost.... Especially in a community this small ❤️
