Some great friends of ours, Sandy & Mark, are getting ready to open their brand-new food truck in Heber Springs — The Chicken Coop! 🎉🐓

And let me tell ya… we are already planning our trip because FRIED CHICKEN is involved! 😂🍗 You definitely don’t have to twist our arms for that!

One thing we’ve learned in the food truck world is just how much every follow, share, recommendation and customer at the window means, especially when you’re getting started. So we want our Simply Southern family to help us show these two some BIG love! ❤️

Tomorrow the Hogs kick off at 3:15 PM, and around here we believe there’s only one proper way to prepare for Razorback football…

We’re taking our Signature BBQ Sauce and combining it with our sweet & spicy Pepper Jelly to create one ridiculously good sauce and drizzling it ALL OVER those sliders! 🔥🤤

Last week we introduced y’all to our Southern Pepper Jelly Chicken and let’s just say… Y’ALL SHOWED IT SOME LOVE!

And I completely understand because this may honestly be one of my favorite things we’ve ever cooked on this truck!

That combination of grilled chicken, whipped cream cheese, pepper jack, crispy bacon, sweet & spicy pepper jelly and fried onion straws is just downright GOOD.

So this week we had a thought…

We’ve been waiting all week to get back in that kitchen and take care of those Southern food cravings! So forget about cooking, leave those dishes right where they are, and come let us handle supper!

🍄🥓 TONIGHT’S SPECIAL — MUSHROOM BACON SWISS GRILLED CHICKEN! 🧀🍗

Our signature seasoned grilled chicken loaded up with savory mushrooms, crispy bacon and melty Swiss cheese! 🤤 And to add just a tad more southern sass, we are topping it off with grilled onions, our SSC sauce and for that extra crunch, some fried onion straws!

But even better… it’s a Simply Southern Friday! And tonight’s special is a little different. This one has a whole lot of heart, home and Southern roots behind it. ❤️

This week, we lost a true Southern treasure, Dolly Parton. Dolly never forgot where she came from. She carried her Tennessee mountain roots, her faith, her family, her kindness, her humor and that unmistakable Southern spirit everywhere she went.

She could make you laugh, make you cry with a song, and remind you that being kind never goes out of style. She showed the world that you could dream BIG while still staying true to the people, places and traditions that made you who you are. 💛

So tonight, we’re paying tribute the way we know best… around the supper table with some good ol’ Southern comfort food! ❤️
