2026 has been hard, both personally and professionally.

Between expansion plans falling through, being told I’m not a wise investment, and a whole lot of other things, my confidence has taken some hits.

But from the very beginning in 2017, I knew WildFlour was something special. Even when I was told it wasn’t possible, that it wasn’t a good plan, that I couldn’t do this… I said, “Watch me.”

I don’t know if WildFlour will be here next month, five years from now, or somewhere in between. But I know I’m here now. And I still love this bakery. I love what I’ve built, and I love getting to bring a little sweetness to so many people.

So for now, I’m going to keep showing up, keep baking, and keep saying, “Watch me.”
