My summed up Salsa Story

There are two things in my life that immediately satisfy my soul. That is bringing something positive to someone’s life and creating something in my kitchen. If I can combine these two it is by far a heartwarming combination for this girl!

Thirteen years ago I started making my own salsa. Biggest reason was that I was pregnant with my daughter and I was spending more on salsa than I was electricity! Of course I didn’t want store bought because you just can’t get a fresh taste like you can at an authentic mexican restaurant. SO while eating local restaurant’s salsas, I began to pick out what I liked best about it, and what I liked least. After years of moving certain ingredients around and adding what I felt was missing I finally reached the recipe that tickles my fancy EVERY TIME I eat it. Took me about 2 years to get it right. Not bad huh?

I started bringing it to local functions, bible studies, parties, pot lucks, and where ever else food was welcome, and I immediately became the salsa girl. It became my contribution to almost any eating situation. Fine by me! I love making it and like I stated before, I LOVE making people happy. 10 years later I am still the salsa girl in my local little community and am dreaming of making it big nationally with my craft.

I am still in the beginning stages of figuring out how to make this happen so bare with me and in the mean time enjoy my salsa from me, until I can make it onto your local grocery store’s shelves!!
