I took these photos myself. No, they are not retouched or internet stock.
The Blessed Mother and Child, and the moonlight through the trees above, were taken December 31, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. at the hidden shrine to Our Lady at OLA Church in Dalton.
The Christmas Tree Moon was taken outside my kitchen window two weeks ago at 5:30 a.m., as I awoke early that morning to prepare for a surgical procedure. It was the precise moment the full moon lit onto that treetop as you see it, that I “happened“ to look out the window.
These moments captured on my phone were signs to me, of Hope, of Strength, from the Source of Hope and Strength. I wanted to share them with you, this New Year’s moment 2025, as you too endure your trials, your crosses and sufferings. Know we are praying for you as you pray for us.
I know the Lord is good. He knows all our pains and He saves us from so many more. I can’t wait til we are all together so I can tell you the incredible miracles I have experienced so far in this crazy, humbling, cancer journey.
May the Light of Christmas shine on you throughout the whole New Year. “Bless us, O Lord, in these Thy Gifts…”
Happy New Year,
~Dorina
