It’s crazy how one little moment can turn into something so much bigger than you ever imagined. 🥹💛

What started with a grandmother, a little sandwich-making contraption, and a whole lot of love eventually became the Zookz you know today.

Our founder’s grandmother, Berdjoui, believed that some of life’s best moments happen when we come together over good food. She probably never imagined that the sandwiches she made for her family would one day inspire a little Phoenix sandwich shop that so many people have come to love. 🥪

And while her love inspired the very first Zookz, it’s YOU who have helped turn that dream into what it is today.

Every familiar face that walks through our doors. Every first bite, every returning customer, every kind word, and every memory made around our tables. Those are the things that keep us going every single day.

We’re so incredibly grateful for the community that has grown around Zookz and for the amazing team that helps carry that love forward.

All because one grandmother brought home a little contraption and decided to make something special for the people she loved.
