Red Dawn brought home Silver at the American Distilling Institute International Spirits Competition, one of the most prestigious and competitive craft spirits competitions in the world, and honestly… it felt like a good time to brag on our distillers a little. 🥃

Most people know O.H.S.O. for beer, brunch, patios, and dogs. But behind the scenes at our North Scottsdale distillery, our team has quietly been crafting award-winning spirits for years.

Red Dawn is our first true grain-to-glass whiskey made completely in-house using 100% red wheat. The name was inspired by the red wheat itself, old-school western skies, and yes… probably the movie too.

And Red Dawn isn’t alone. Over the years, O.H.S.O. spirits have earned awards for bourbon, gin, flavored vodka, and more at international competitions like ADI.

12 years ago today, O.H.S.O. opened its second location in North Scottsdale… and with it, our distillery. 🧡

What started as a nano-brewery in Arcadia evolved into one of Arizona’s first craft distilleries in Scottsdale, and over the years this place has continued to grow right alongside our community.

The patios got bigger. The spaces changed. The giant bike disappeared. But the people and the spirit has stayed.

Thanks for being part of this wild ride with us over the last 12 years. We truly wouldn’t be here without you. Cheers to many more. 🥃
