What really got me wasn’t even just Samuel Bateman… it’s the footage.
Watching these women talk about him like he’s really a prophet… like they love him and would go to war for him… yeah that hits different

And the fact Christine Marie and Tolga Katas were really in there… living in it, filming it, playing a role just to keep getting footage… that’s what separates this from every other cult doc

It don’t feel like fake shock either… the situation itself is just that dark

This not a light watch… but it’s one of those you should see at least once
