The sheet rock going up at Café Remedy isn’t just construction — it’s cosmic timing.

When the crew unwrapped the stack, the manufacture date stamped across the board matched one of our owner’s birthdays. Not close. Not the same month. The exact day.

That’s not coincidence.
That’s not random.
That’s a sign.

A sign that this café was meant to happen.
A sign that the energy behind this place is bigger than blueprints and build‑outs.
A sign that Café Remedy is already aligning in all the right ways.

A little history of this space from 2013 - 2024. 1) Teatro, 2) Bourbon Cellar, 3) Twist Bistro, 4) Ginny's Kitchen, 5) a very short time as an Irish Pub, prior to the same owners starting 6) CD's Sports Bar.

Current state: Walls are moved, floors are stripped, bar has been redesigned, mechanical issues resolved, roof leaks being addressed, plumbing is underway, electrical rough-in is progressing, walls for the new patio are up, steel should start next week followed closely by concrete.

We have filled 3-30 yard dumpsters, a 20-yard dumpster and 4-dump trailers. In the spirit of this build, we are done taking it all apart, now let's get it put back together for all of our friends, family and loyal patrons to enjoy.
