Unfortunately, no industry is free from fakes trying to pull a fast one! I have started getting order inquiries that are from fraudulent accounts, and I have been able to detect them before I get stuck with a fake order. The inquiry usually stops when I ask for an email address for an invoice to be sent and requiring prepayment.

So, if you reach out regarding a special order, please know I am going to ask lots of questions and ask for pre-payment (unless I personally know you). This is to protect myself from making an order for someone who does not intend to pick it up once they realized I am not going to provide them with MY payment info.
