A day late, but in our world every day is pizza day! Thank you to Brian & Andi and the rest of their gang, for their always gracious and kind words. They definitely walk the walk and don’t just give lip service in their support of their clients and partners…they even called in an order to us on Thursday night when they were in town! So if you’re looking for some folks who will support those who support them in kind, look no further than Panhandle Scanner!

We were thrilled to hear the news tonight that our old friend and home grown Bluffs native Sabastian Harsh made the 53-man NFL active roster for the Houston Texans! The last time he was in (after signing his free agent contract with the team) we told him if he made the team, we would take the photo we snapped and put it on our wall. So look for that very soon, at an Arthur’s near you! Congratulations, Bash…we’re so excited to watch you on the Texans this fall!

Twice in one week…we must be doing something right! Jamy Lawson returned tonight, this time bringing in the Gering Girls Softball umpires for the summer of ‘26 season. Thank you girls, for committing your time and efforts to Panhandle youth sports and for choosing us to celebrate your season send off!

Thank you to the Sandberg Farms T-ball team from Gering for coming in and celebrating the end of their season under the leadership of coach Jamy Lawson and his dad Jim and assistant coaches Bailee, Aaliyah, Emma and Lisette. Congratulations on a successful year and thanks for choosing us to gather!

Oregon Trail Days

We will be closed tomorrow, to celebrate the Fourth with our families and loved ones. We’ll be open regular hours today and Sunday (11:00 am-8:00 pm) so give us a ring if you can work us into your holiday weekend plans then!

We will be back to Bands on Broadway with pizza available from our friends at the Powerhouse, tonight from 6:00-9:00. Seems like a good lineup with our buddies Avid Dischord opening up for the Kris Lager Band (who we were lucky enough to catch a sneak peek of the other night and it sounded like they’re ready to rock the town!)
Single topping slices available for $4 a slice and full pies for $24 each. So swing on in to the Powerhouse…our pizza pairs nicely with one of their swanky cocktails and some good tunes on the patio!
