I fell in love this Saturday! 💘 I met my first 🦜 Princess of Wales Parakeet 👑 at the Columbia Canary Club bird sale in Clackamas, OR.

I’m considering hand feeding a clutch. Checking to see if there is interest.

My research has shown they were previously overlooked as pets & known for beautiful aviary additions but in recent years people have been training them as pets!

They are a quieter bird but can also learn to talk especially the males. They are known as gentle, sweet-natured, and passive birds. Size is closer to a cockatiel, much larger then a standard or even English Budgie.

This baby in the picture will acquire their full, vibrant adult plumage their second year usually between 14 to 18 months.

Let me know asap if you want to reserve one. Text or pm me.

These two hand fed English Budgie babies are well on their way to weaning and available to reserve.

Enceladus on the left is named after Saturn's sixth-largest moon and is famous for its bright, icy surface and the geyser-like plumes that erupt from its south pole, spewing water v***r and organic molecules into space.

Proteus Is on the right & is named afterNeptune’s second-largest moon in the Neptunian system and the planet's largest inner satellite.

Summer Land Immersive Camp
Feathered Lion Learning Center
Ages 6–12 | June 15–18 | 10:00am–3:00pm

Rooted in the philosophy of Ecology of Freedom-Based Learning®, Feathered Lion Learning Center offers children a joyful, hands-on learning experience where curiosity, creativity, nature, and relationship become the foundation for learning and growth.

During this four-day immersive, children will explore the rhythms of village life through archery, gardening, herbology, regenerative farming, expressive arts, storytelling, folk skills, animal care, and nature-based play. A special focus of the week will be exploring pond life — observing aquatic ecosystems, discovering insects and amphibians, learning about water habitats, and developing a deeper relationship with the natural world through direct experience and wonder.

Each day is designed to nurture both the outer world of practical skills and the inner world of imagination, emotional awareness, creativity, and belonging. Through movement, exploration, meaningful work, and community connection, children are supported in developing confidence, responsibility, and a deeper connection to self, others, and the earth.

Grounded on the land at Leo’s Rising Collective, this immersive reflects a living approach to education where learning happens through relationship, mentorship, play, and direct engagement with the environment.

Summer Teen Immersive Camp

Feathered Lion Learning Center
June 15–18 | 10:00am–3:00pm

Rooted in the philosophy of Ecology of Freedom-Based Learning®, Feathered Lion Learning Center offers a land-based learning experience where education grows through relationship, curiosity, meaningful work, and connection to the living world. Rather than separating academics, life skills, emotional development, and creativity, our approach weaves them together through direct experience, mentorship, and village-centered learning.

This immersive invites teens into a rich week of hands-on exploration through archery, herbology, regenerative farming, animal husbandry, expressive arts, folk skills, storytelling, and guided reflection on the emotional terrain of the inner world. Participants are encouraged to build confidence, resilience, creativity, self-awareness, and practical life skills while deepening their relationship with self, community, and the earth.

Grounded on the land at Leo’s Rising Collective, teens experience learning through rhythm, responsibility, movement, creativity, and shared village experiences. From caring for animals and harvesting from the garden to creating art, exploring nature, and engaging in meaningful conversations, each day supports both outer skill-building and inner development.

Our work is inspired by place-based learning, Waldorf education, village wisdom, somatic awareness, and the understanding that true learning emerges through relationship and lived experience.
