I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who entered our raffle in support of my cousin, who is still fighting for his life. Your kindness, prayers, and generosity mean more than words can express. We are all extremly grateful.

A very special thank you to Shirts Desings & More for your support and for donating the cup for the second prize winner. We truly appreciate you being part of this effort.

With all this being said, the raffle draw will take place TOMORROW evening, and we’ll announce the winners right here on this page.

This is where it began.

A little girl in Mexico, wearing a chef’s hat too big for her head… but already dreaming big.

My love for baking — and all things in the kitchen — started early.
But really, it began long before me.

I come from a line of strong, loving women who cooked and baked with heart - they were incredible at it too.
One grandmother ran a successful bakery in Mexico.
My other grandma, my mom, and aunts made every kitchen a place where people felt seen, fed, and cared for.

They showed me that true hospitality lives in the little things — a warm meal, a shared dessert, the comfort of being welcomed without needing to ask.

That spirit lives on in Bakes by Gallie where everything is done with love and care.
Every recipe carries a memory.
Every flavor connects me to my roots.
Every bite has a story — and this is mine. 🤍

Aquí es donde comenzó todo.

Una niña en México, con un sombrero de chef demasiado grande para su cabeza… pero ya soñando en grande.

Mi amor por la repostería — y por todo lo que sucede en la cocina — comenzó desde muy temprano.
Pero en realidad, empezó mucho antes de mí.

Vengo de una línea de mujeres fuertes y amorosas que cocinaban y horneaban con el corazón. Eran increibles en eso tambien.
Una de mis abuelas tuvo una reposteria exitosa en México.
Mi otra abuela, mi mamá y mis tías convirtieron cada cocina en un lugar donde la gente se sentía vista, alimentada y cuidada.

Ellas me enseñaron que la verdadera hospitalidad vive en los pequeños detalles:
una comida caliente, un postre compartido, la tranquilidad de sentirse bienvenido sin necesidad de pedirlo.

Ese espíritu vive hoy en Bakes by Gallie, donde todo se hace con amor y dedicación.
Cada receta guarda un recuerdo.
Cada sabor me conecta con mis raíces.
Cada bocado tiene una historia — y esta es la mía. 🤍

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at the Latin Festival yesterday! 💃🎉
We had a wonderful time introducing our new Gansito-inspired tres leches cake to the festival — creating these sweet treats brings us immense joy, but meeting you all in person is what truly makes it special. 💕

We know we haven’t been super active here lately — life has been doing its thing — but we’re SO excited to finally share this:

We had such an amazing time last year, and we’re beyond excited to see all of your lovely faces again! You can expect the same high-quality baked goods you know and love — some returning favorites from last year, and some new surprises too! This cake!

Let me tell you the story behind this cake…

I have a client who had tried one of my cakes before—just a a mini version.
But it stayed with her.

The flavor. The texture. The feeling.
She didn’t recall my name, didn’t have my page… but she remembered.

So she searched. Asked around. Scrolled through posts.
Because something that good? You don’t forget it.

And eventually—she found me.

She knew exactly what she wanted: a full sheet cajeta y nuez tres leches cake.
22 pounds of rich, creamy love. Pecans, warm cajeta, soaked to perfection.

Made just for her, her family, and her guests.
Because when someone holds onto a single bite for that long—you know you have to pour your heart into every inch of the cake.
