Bayou Beer Fest

Bayou Beer Fest South Louisiana's premier Beer Festival It all started outside a barn. Seriously. A barn. Joel Ohmer and Jim Barrett imagined a beer festival in Houma, Louisiana.

A festival that focused on BEER ... a festival run by a non-profit that would help educate the public about the joys of beer and home brewing. They'd host events, and advocate for the Tri-Parish area to receive the quality selection of beers that bigger metro areas receive. Glasses clinked, and soon Willie Rollins and Charles Gaiennie were part of the team that made this daydream become a reality. Years later, we find ourselves having given over $15,000 to veterans causes such as the Tri-Parish Veterans Shelter and the Louisiana Military Family Assistance Fund. So hoist a glass with us in November and help us salute those who serve our great country. Prost!
