Located at the heart of Schenectady’s Stockade District, this historic market has been serving the community for over 225 years.

This weekend (tomorrow and Sunday) we’re serving up espresso lemonades as part of our “Brought To You By” drinks series! 🪄☕️ This series features one-weekend-only drink specials by one of our very talented, creative baristas!

Our espresso lemonades feature Natalie’s fresh lemonade and No. Six Depot Roastery & Cafe espresso for a refreshing, delicious sip. This summer drink is brought to you by alexandra bonack, who shared her source of inspiration below:

“There are many things I love about summer, but most of all, it’s the season when Ben and I crossed paths in the heat of July over espresso lemonades. Ever since, this drink has become so much more than something people might initially dismiss.

On our first date, I’d never tried an espresso lemonade. What was supposed to be an ordinary summer afternoon ended with me discovering two new favorite things. We bonded over the novelty and somewhere between the first sip and the conversation, a memory was made that I’d carry with me long after summer ended.

I wanted to bring a little piece of that memory to you. Something to help you beat the midsummer heat, to bring you and your favorite person together, but also a reminder that sometimes the best things begin with saying yes to something new.”

“Chew, chewier, chewiest!” Overheard at the big wood table earlier this week, as one happy person sat enjoying the first few bites of our new brown butter chocolate chip cookie!

Made with nutty brown butter, our signature chocolate chunks, and topped with flaky Maldon salt, this cookie does the impossible—it improves on our best selling chocolate chip. Come try it for yourself and tell us what you think!

Happy Mother’s Day! 🥰🌸 And infinite thanks to my mom and my mother-in-law, both of whom have contributed in countless ways to Arthur’s and who are the best grandmothers imaginable to Hal! What would I do without you? And for that matter, where would any of us be without all the loving moms, mother figures, dog moms, cat moms, plant moms, etc in our lives? You’re the best!! Over the past three days, we’ve watched with equal parts excitement, admiration, and maybe a little jealousy (their focus and skill!) as and hand-painted and gilded the windows, walls, and fascia of Arthur’s.

Their beautiful new signage has brought the face of our building to life and fully restored the identity of Arthur’s. We hope you enjoy their beautiful work as much as we do and that it welcomes guests through our doors for many years to come.
