Located at the heart of Schenectady’s Stockade District, this historic market has been serving the community for over 225 years.

“Chew, chewier, chewiest!” Overheard at the big wood table earlier this week, as one happy person sat enjoying the first few bites of our new brown butter chocolate chip cookie!

Made with nutty brown butter, our signature chocolate chunks, and topped with flaky Maldon salt, this cookie does the impossible—it improves on our best selling chocolate chip. Come try it for yourself and tell us what you think!

Happy Mother’s Day! 🥰🌸 And infinite thanks to my mom and my mother-in-law, both of whom have contributed in countless ways to Arthur’s and who are the best grandmothers imaginable to Hal! What would I do without you? And for that matter, where would any of us be without all the loving moms, mother figures, dog moms, cat moms, plant moms, etc in our lives? You’re the best!! Over the past three days, we’ve watched with equal parts excitement, admiration, and maybe a little jealousy (their focus and skill!) as and hand-painted and gilded the windows, walls, and fascia of Arthur’s.

Their beautiful new signage has brought the face of our building to life and fully restored the identity of Arthur’s. We hope you enjoy their beautiful work as much as we do and that it welcomes guests through our doors for many years to come.

Happy gorgeous spring Saturday!! 🌸🌞 Our patio is open *and* we received our first flower delivery of the year from yesterday! Add a sip of coffee and sunshine, and we really couldn’t ask for more!
