❗️❗️SAUCE IS BACK @ The Honey Bean Bakery & Coffee Shop

07/28/2025

Hi everyone! 👋🏽 It’s been a little while since we’ve posted, but we wanted to hop on and share a quick update and some important info.

👀 A few of you have noticed some changes to our location/trailer recently and have even stopped by so we wanted to clarify a few things!

First off: We are, and will continue to be, closed.

As we shared last year, we made the decision to close so that Willie could finally relax and enjoy a well-earned retirement. We do not have any plans to reopen the BBQ as it once was.

That said, we are working on something behind the scenes that may bring back a few of Willie’s favorites like our sauce but we’ll share that at a later date.

Now, onto exciting news…

YES, the trailer is OPEN… but it’s now The Honey Bean’s drive-thru! ☕🍪

All info about the drive-thru can be found over on their page: The Honey Bean Bakery & Coffee Shop

So, in short:
No BBQ… but yes to coffee/drinks and sweet treats!

We hope that clears up any confusion! Thanks for all the continued support of the Reed family throughout the years!

After much consideration, the difficult decision has been made to close our doors indefinitely.

We are incredibly grateful for the support this community has shown us—whether from the early days when Willie’s started in Athens or more recently in Sayre. Your kindness and loyalty have meant the world to us.

For those who still want a taste of Willie’s, some of our BBQ sauce is still available at The Honey Bean Bakery & Coffee Shop We are unsure if/when this will be restocked once sold out.

Thank you again for being part of our journey. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for our last week of the 2024 season! We are now closed until Spring 2025 and will keep you updated on that opening once we get closer!

Also, if you’re still in the mood for BBQ, The Honey Bean Bakery & Coffee Shop will be carrying our BBQ sauce this winter so you can add it to any of your favorite dishes at home!
