The community wants to know how they can help? While this one isn’t at the farm or put together by MCBR it is still for a cause that is close to home and has certainly affected most in one way or another. You want to help, this is a great way to do it! A car show, some music, a rubber duck river race, all for families touched by cancer past or present!

Join Ribbons & Routes own Chris, Woody, and Phil, for a rubber duck river race with a purpose! As thousands of ducks float down the river, they will represent the journey so many families face during their battle with cancer - full of twists, turns, rough waters, and hope along the way.

Adopt your lucky duck for a chance to WIN UP TO $10,000! Every duck purchased helps support families affected and reminds them they never have to face the journey alone.

Ribbons & Routes is a charity organization that focuses on helping families and communities that are affected by cancer by providing assistance and help for the heart and needs of families and not the pocket of big pharma. For more info and questions please visit their website at https://ribbonsandroutes.org/

To clear up ongoing rumors and misinformation regarding Mud Creek Bison Ranch: the Comstock family sold the property in Prattsburg, NY, along with all of the bison, to the owners of White Bison Farm, LLC, in November 2025. They managed both the Savona farm and restaurant, allowing us a much-needed period of respite. Our relationship with the Cronauer family dates back to 2014, when we purchased our first white bison from them. They have been stewards of bison far longer than we have and are genuinely good people. The original construction of the existing building fell under New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets jurisdiction. As the project progressed, we proactively reached out to the Town of Bath, which provided a list of requirements to bring the building into compliance. Unfortunately, that list was repeatedly changed and expanded, requiring us to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars, only for new requirements to continue to be added. This shifting and documented “moving target” made compliance unattainable. Mud Creek Bison Ranch is currently closed due to ongoing issues with the Town of Bath, and the ongoing persistent harassment, which led to significant client and revenue loss that we could no longer sustain. During this same period, our property taxes tripled, and our agricultural status was stripped. It is deeply concerning for a small rural farming community to take such an anti-farm stance, and hire non-educated inspectors, as well as California residence to lead this town. At this time, we cannot justify keeping the doors open until legal counsel is engaged. Unfortunately, this also means the Cronauer family will no longer be able to manage the business, and the Comstock family will be resuming ownership. We sincerely thank everyone who has supported both families throughout this process. To those who chose to comment without first checking the facts—please do better. We fully intend to reopen sooner rather than later, and we will return stronger, better, and more resilient because of this experience.
