Burger Bash is back, and Eat It & Like It has Savannah restaurants competing for burger bragging rights. Naturally, we wanted in.

Our contender: The Southern Crown.

A 6 oz. premium beef burger crowned with a crispy pimento croquette, a nod to pimento cheese’s reputation as the “caviar of the South,” along with celery and sweet pepper chow chow, romaine, and a house made semolina brioche bun with benne seeds.

And somewhere between those layers? Eat It & Like It sauce. What’s in it? That’s a secret. Sorry, not sorry.

Served with fries and a draft beer for $22 during Eat It & Like It Burger Bash, now through September 3.

Come get your hands on The Southern Crown and see if it lives up to its name.

For Chef Miguel, when it comes to brunch, it's the Beef Hash.

Caramelized onions, potatoes, a sunny side egg, hollandaise, and chives come together in a dish that's equal parts comfort and indulgence, and judging by that smile, we'd say it's a pretty good choice.
