“A new beginning”
Seven years ago today, we opened Savannah’s first and still only naturally leavened Neapolitan pizzeria.
What an incredible journey it’s been.
Together, we’ve earned recognition as Best Pizza in the Southeast by Food & W**e and received countless other accolades that we’re incredibly proud of. More importantly, we’ve had the privilege of serving this amazing community and sharing our passion for great pizza with all of you.
As we continue to grow, so does our vision.
Over the past year, our sister restaurant Lucia has become the new home of our Neapolitan pizza program. With that transition complete, it’s time for Pizzeria Vittoria to begin its next chapter…

To make it all happen, Vittoria will be closed beginning July 31 through the month of August while we install our new deck oven, rework the kitchen, and develop an entirely new menu.
We’ll be sharing the journey along the way from the new oven installation to dough development, recipe testing, and everything in between so be sure to follow along.
Moving forward if you want your Neapolitan fix hit up Lucia , where the pizza program now lives. The bar is first come, first serve and we’d love to see you there.
We’re incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to extend our lease, continue serving this neighborhood, and begin an exciting new chapter with all of you.
