This charming setting is a spacious property boasting six dining rooms, a second-floor chapel, a basement wine cellar, three outdoor dining
/event spaces, and complimentary valet parking. The dining room staff is exceptionally skilled in guiding each guest’s experience through a culinary tour of Italy while being precise and attentive but also unobtrusive and comfortable. The kitchen team works from as many locally sourced ingredients as possible, combining the allure of Italian cuisine with the heart of a small local business. The wine list has been carefully developed over the course of several years with the idea of providing guests with great expressions of Italian varietals and regions, and for a great value at that. Completely renovated for the restaurant, the building has served as a home to the Sisters of Mercy until the 1960’s, and then to Peacock’s Florist more recently. Homages to these histories can be seen in the chapel on the second floor (complete with stained glass and hand-painted walls by local artist Carl Fougerousse) and several iterations of peacocks hidden throughout. The mohogany bar was designed by local craftsman Jere Meyer, crafted in England, and received here in your favorite city! The gardens surrounding the building are curated and lovingly maintained by the owners, Jeffery and Donald.
