Some people leave an imprint on you long before you ever meet them. 💛

Ms. Jan grew up in the mountains of Tennessee, where Dolly Parton was more than music. Her warmth, humility, generosity, faith in where she came from, and the way she has always treated people became part of what Ms. Jan admired and carried with her.

That same kind of love and integrity can be felt in the way Ms. Jan has led Clary’s through the years — welcoming people as they are, treating strangers like neighbors, and never forgetting that a restaurant is about far more than what’s on the plate.

In so many ways, the values Ms. Jan saw reflected in Dolly helped shape the woman whose leadership has shaped Clary’s into the place it is today.
