As you celebrate the Fourth of July with family and friends, remember that not everyone gets to spend the day at the lake, the beach, or the backyard barbecue.

Today, countless hardworking Americans are in hot kitchens, behind the grill, serving tables, washing dishes, pouring drinks, and doing their best to make your holiday enjoyable. Their dedication and work ethic are part of what has always made this country strong.

If you’re joining us today, we simply ask for a little kindness, a little patience, and a little gratitude. A smile, a “thank you,” and understanding during a busy holiday can mean more than you know.
