We are looking for barista/cafe help to work at our fast paced specialty coffee house and cafe. Must be available on weekends and have counter/cafe experience. Barista experience helpful but will train the right people. Please have references.

We are a small busy cafe specializing in fresh roasted coffee and fresh food. All staff members are responsible for all aspects of the business since we are a small family owned cafe. Please forward resume or job history and contact information.

A day in the life at Bluestone ☕️ For a video project in her course in web development at UAlbany, our barista Heather chose to document what a usual weekday shift looks like with Olivia. The following text is her commentary for the video:

“I've had the pleasure of being a barista at a locally-owned coffee shop in Saugerties, NY for about a year now. Bluestone has that homey-feel that all the greatest coffee shops do. Futurama and Simpsons action figures occupy the empty space on the shelves and local artists hang their work on the walls. The aroma of fresh roasted coffee beans fills the room and chatter among regular customers can be heard over rock music from bands like Radiohead and Smashing Pumpkins. I usually work shifts with Olivia, who agreed to be the star of this video assignment. Olivia hopes to one day open a cafe of her own. She has a passion for coffee - and it shows in her latte art. Working at Bluestone has been rewarding in ways I never expected, so I thought it would make for a great addition to my portfolio.”
