I'm excited to announce that Roost Roast Coffee is back and available online...along with a lot of other flavors. After nearly 2 years of research and testing, I'm proud to introduce Krak Coffee Company. This is my new venture in partnership with two great people who have plenty of expertise to bring to the table.

For Roost Roast, the name has changed, and the logo is different, but it is exactly the same and is roasted in the same roastery it has been for the last 11 years. The coffee is now called "Roost Krak".

As many of you know, we had a catastrophic fire last June and have not reopened. As bummed as we are that we will not be reopening, we are very excited to announce that two young entrepreneurs have purchased the restaurant and plan to reopen in the upcoming years!

The Roost family wants to thank all of you for your amazing support the last 9 years, you all mean so much to us and we miss you all! We know that the new owners will take amazing care of all of you. Please show them the same love and support that you showed us and let them make you as happy as we did!

New ventures are being worked on including the return of Roost Roast to the marketplace. I will keep you updated in the days and weeks ahead. Again, thank you for your support through the years!

Sunday September 3rd. just had a last-minute cancellation for a private chef event.  We will come and cook at your house and clean up after dinner is over.

Most of my weekends are pretty well booked up right now, but this seems like a terrible opportunity to waste.

Plan on the night of culinary amazingness, and a little comedy along with it.

 Any type of food is fine provided I can acquire the ingredients locally.

I’ve been quiet, deliberately.

But we are coming back. In a much stronger fashion. I am dealing with so much code and regulations stuff. You have no idea. It is not your problem.

 I was honestly ready to give up and just bulldoze. Everything seemed so massive from an obstacle standpoint.

Then somebody forcefully pulled me aside and said how much we need the 👥 Roost around the lake.

I’m going to rebuild for you and not for me.

I am going to rebuild for us .

Like I said, I’m going to keep everyone posted

We are building our war room tomorrow to get all these projects done. My absolute dream team already works at the 👥 Roost. They are the most incredible people in the world. I could not do a single thing without them.

We are guessing we will be about a week late, but that is fast as we can move.

You know, I love you guys. I’m going to trust you to give me a little leeway. When we get this open, it’s going to be right.

From my entire team from the 👥 Roost and new members or join our team is simply say thank you. 

I have amazing staff that nobody has. We will do in three weeks that anybody else would take three months to do. Please trust me. We are here for you not for us.

I promised to keep you guys posted. More details to follow but I will have the landing open in two weeks. I am rebuilding the Roost but that will take 6 to 8 months. You people are beautiful. I hope you come with me.

Let’s bring Long Lake back from the brink. I can’t do it without you.

Ok. This is hush hush. Just us guys. But I do have a question for you. Does anybody want to see the crown jewel of long Lake opened by the Fourth of July?  no names and keep it on the down low. I might need some volunteers, but I promise to throw one hell of a party if we get it done. I will re-open the roost, but that is months away. It’s pretty much toast. Is anybody with me on this? If not, I will shut up and just focus on rebuilding the roost.

So Mel and I can’t serve you breakfast tomorrow. But we will serve you tomorrow afternoon on the deck at Rockford House tomorrow afternoon from 2 to 6. 

It might be a little too soon for a reunion tour lol

And if you will indulge me, can I please send out a great shout out to the firemen with the Spooner fire department and what amazing professional job they did. I feel blessed to breathe the same air as these heroes do as well.

GREAT NEWS! Please join us in welcoming the new owners of Long Lake Bait & Tackle:
Cory & Sari and their cute little puppy Harley!
The Bait Shop will be open this weekend with a "Soft" opening beginning tomorrow Friday at 7 am! They are stocked with Bait, 91 Octane Gasoline, Propane, Ice and all the things for opener!
They are still awaiting some equipment so it will be "Cash" only until their system is installed here in the next day or so, and their DNR equipment is not here yet, so if you are needing your licenses, you will need to go on line at: gowild.wi.gov to obtain.

Mother's Day Specials at The Roost:
The Roost will be open Mother's Day from 8am-1pm! We will be serving our normal menu along with some featured specials. Reservations are not required BUT are highly suggested and recommended. You can make a reservation by messaging us on Facebook or by calling (715) 635-8921 during business hours.

As a reminder, The Roost delivers food to Perlick Distillery from 10am-2pm. Food can be ordered from the Distillery by ordering off the kiosk or scanning the QR code on your table.

Happy Easter from The Roost of Sarona! We will be open from 8am until 1pm on Sunday. We will have our regular menu with some great Easter specials:

Appetizer: A little bit of heaven - Crispy Apples, Sausage Links and Cinnamon Bites

Entrees:
Easter Dinner with Applewood Smoked Ham, Cheesy Hashbrowns, Asparagus and a Dinner Roll

Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes with choice of meat and local Maple Syrup

Brisket Benedict - Smoked Brisket atop a buttery croissant with poached eggs and hollandaise. Choice of breakfast potato.
