There’s nothing quite like the feeling of standing on the wide-open plains, holding a piece of history. A successful Midwestern buffalo hunt isn’t just about the harvest; it’s about honoring the traditions of those who came before us. This magnificent bull was taken with a classic high-wall r***e, making the moment even more unforgettable.

Back at the shop and he still can't stop smiling. 😄

This bull was a great way to kick off the season. Heavy rack, long tines, and one happy hunter. Congrats!

Next fall elk dates are filling up fast. Lodging and meals are included. Give us a call or send us a message to get on the calendar.

This aoudad came off the ranch under a big Nebraska sky, with heavy horns and that long mane hanging down. They're tough, sharp-eyed animals and a lot of fun to hunt. Congrats on a great ram!

Aoudad hunts are available this fall, with lodging and meals included. Give us a call or send us a message to book.

Fall has officially arrived in the Sandhills and hunting season is off to a great start.

Cool mornings, turning leaves, and a couple of great animals on the ground already. Congrats to both of these hunters on a heck of a way to open the season.

We still have a few fall dates open for elk, bison, and exotics. Lodging and meals are included, and we'll take care of the rest. Give us a call or send us a message to get on the calendar.

August in the Sandhills. Bulls in velvet, sitting fat in the tall grass with nothing to worry about yet.

They'll be hard-antlered and bugling in about six weeks.

Elk dates are filling. Call Danielle at 308-730-4116.

Ten years chasing elk. One bull.

Carlos hunted elk for a decade before this week. Sandhills ground, fair chase, and a moment he'd waited on since 2016.

Some hunts you don't forget.

Most guys fish their whole life for one muskie. This is not most places.

The ReWild family spent the week at Rough Rock Lodge in northwest Ontario with our good buddy John, who runs the place. It sits on the Winnipeg River System, one of the top muskie destinations on the continent. Fish of a thousand casts? Not up here. We got into them all week, plus pike, walleye and smallmouth when we wanted a break.

Only lodge on the lake. Nothing else within 15 miles of it. John runs it right, same as we try to run things down here.

Some guys you only see once. Gary's not one of them.

He's hunted with us more times than we can count, and this ram is the latest on a long list. Repeat hunters are the best review we could ask for.

Summer in the Sandhills — the herd on grass. This is what a working bison ranch looks like on a good day. See the land and animals in person at rewildranch.com.
