It is with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news with our Marv’s Place family and friends.
After more than 24 years of serving our wonderful community, Marv’s Place Restaurant will be closing its doors for the final time on Sunday, October 18th.
When we first opened our doors on April 13, 2002, we never could have imagined just how many wonderful people would walk through them, how many friendships would be made, or how many of you would become like family to us.
Like so many small businesses, we have faced our share of challenges over the years. Since COVID, finding and keeping enough staff has been an ongoing struggle. But we persevered, doing everything we could to keep our doors open and continue serving the community we love. This past year, especially, has been incredibly difficult and stressful, with times when we were operating with a staff of just three people. We kept pushing forward because of our love for this restaurant and, more importantly, for all of you.
Unfortunately, the time has come for us to make one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make. As much as it breaks our hearts, we know it's time to close this chapter.
But we aren't going out without one last great Sunday at Marv's Place!
Our final day, Sunday, October 18th, will be Meatloaf Sunday! We'll also be serving our beloved chicken & noodles, and of course, it wouldn't be a Sunday at Marv's without a wonderful selection of our homemade desserts! We hope you'll join us for one last meal, a few more laughs, and maybe even a few hugs.
To everyone who has supported us over the past 24 years, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you for every meal shared, every kind word, every smile, and every time you chose to walk through our doors. Thank you for supporting us through the good times and the difficult ones. So many of you started out as customers but became dear friends and, in many ways, part of our family.
It has truly been an honor and a privilege to serve this community for more than two decades. The hardest part of saying goodbye isn't closing the restaurant itself. It's knowing we won't get to see so many familiar faces, hear your stories, share a laugh, or welcome you back to your favorite table.
While we're deeply saddened to say goodbye, we will forever be grateful for the memories, friendships, and love you've given us along the way.
24 years. Countless meals. Endless memories. And a community that will always hold a special place in our hearts.
From our family to yours, thank you for making Marv's Place so much more than just a restaurant. You made it a home.
With all our love and gratitude,
The Marv's Place Family
