Hi there, this is JJ. This is a little thank you note for my customers/neighbors/friends...

When I first opened this little shop, many people thought I went crazy. And yet, the past 10 years were the best time of my life. Greeting and serving you the best coffee that I can get, I truly enjoyed the experience and learned a lot. Thank you, thank you so so much...

Now, I am heading out to Korea for another adventure of Coffee. For the last 30 years when I was away, Korean coffee culture has flourished and became something remarkable. I find marvelous coffee in every little corner of the street, I mean, literally.

I believe my coffee experience in the States and the coffee scene in Korea can make something interesting when they collide.

I am not sure what I will do exactly be but would like to share my experience as I move forward. When I encounter something interesting (mostly coffee, I believe...), I will post it here and share. If you want me to go and check out a specific place or coffee, please drop me a note at [email protected].

Even though I cannot greet you and say hello in person that often anymore, I think we can meet this way and it will be fun, too!
One day, I might be back with an exciting recipe to share.

Me and some baristas had a fun cupping session held at Berkeley CoRo by .coffee. We all enjoyed awesome coffee from Guatemala. Soon we will be able to serve the fresh new crop at the cafe. Thank you, Primavera!!
