Any fans of The Bear out there? "Yes, Chef"
Or maybe you're just a fan of some good old-fashioned Chicago food?

Well, we've decided to throw our hat into the ring with our very own take on the legendary CHICAGO ITALIAN BEEF SANDWICH and have added it to our menu!

Now, before anyone from Chicago starts yelling at us about what makes an authentic Italian beef, hear us out…

Whether you're from River North, West Town, or anywhere else in Chicagoland, we know this sandwich is practically sacred. So we kept the heart of the classic and added a little Hideaway personality.

Here's what we're working with:
- Slow-roasted beef, cooked until beautifully tender and packed with flavor.
- Chopped giardiniera, bringing that classic Chicago bite.
- Melted provolone cheese, because we felt like being a little rebellious.
= House-made cherry pepper aioli, adding just the right amount of heat and flavor.
= Grilled roll, holding all that deliciousness together.

And here's where we might really upset the Chicago purists…
We're not dipping the entire sandwich in au jus. Instead, we're serving a generous portion on the side so you can dip it yourself. Go a little, go a lot, or give that sandwich a full-on swimming lesson. That's your business. We can supply you with a bowl to soak it in.

A little brisk out there this morning, but it's shaping up to be a beautiful fall day!
The sun is shining, the leaves are changing colors (and starting to fall), and we're enjoying every last bit of this beautiful season before winter comes knocking.

And what better way to enjoy a Monday than with ALL-DAY HAPPY HOUR at The Hideaway?!

We're serving our NEW Happy Hour Menu from open to close, featuring a great selection of shareable appetizers and some fantastic deals on b**r, w**e, and cocktails!

If you’re not heading downtown for Wing Fest today, we’ve got another pretty delicious reason to get out of the house…

OUR NEW BRUNCH MENU IS HERE!

Remember last year when egg prices went through the roof? And suddenly, it felt like you needed to take out a small loan just to enjoy breakfast?

Well, we remember.

As ingredient costs skyrocketed, restaurants everywhere had to adjust their prices to keep up. Understandably so. But now that egg prices have come back down, we figured it was time to revisit a few things ourselves.

We want to make brunch affordable again!

Not only have we added some exciting new items to our brunch menu, but we’ve also LOWERED THE PRICES on several of our existing favorites!

Yes, we’re doing that whole lowering-prices thing again. Apparently, it’s becoming a habit around here. 😄

Now, don’t get us wrong. While eggs have become more affordable, plenty of other ingredients are still carrying some pretty hefty price tags. But we’re committed to keeping an eye on those costs, and when we find opportunities to pass savings along to our guests, that’s exactly what we intend to do.

Because we believe enjoying a delicious breakfast with family and friends shouldn’t have to break the bank.

So come check out our new menu, enjoy some of your old favorites, discover a few new ones, and let us know what you think!

Since we became the Hideaway at Saratoga Lake this past February, we've been part of some fun, sometimes crazy, events… and tomorrow should be no different!

Hey everyone, it's Tim again,
Again, I want to address something personally, and not as the restaurant, as I'm proud of this team and the hard work they have put into the product they are serving tomorrow.

We have always had a hand in cooking or preparing the food for all of these “fests” in Saratoga, whether it's chowder, wings, tacos... I'm sure there are more. This crew has always worked behind the scenes at this restaurant, and at many others where they have worked. But for tomorrow's Discover Saratoga's Wing Fest, we gave full control to our talented culinary team to have fun and make something truly special, and we believe they did. We are excited to announce that we will be serving:

MAPLE BACON BOURBON WINGS tomorrow at Bourbon Room Saratoga! Shout out to Bourbon Room for letting us use their storefront.

When we say they made something special, here's how they prepped these amazing wings.

First, they started with the sauce and combined the flavors to make a perfect blend. They started with 100% pure maple syrup (sourced locally 👍🏼) and an ungodly amount of house-made bacon jam. Next they had to cook off the right amount of bourbon to add to the mix, and boy oh boy, did it bring all the flavors together. This sauce is phenomenal.

Now, on to the wings themselves. They started with brining all 1000+ wings in a bacon-fat-washed bourbon brine... Yes, you read that right: BACON-FAT-WASHED BOURBON BRINE. Let the flavor soak in and then bake them off to hold all that goodness in. Tomorrow morning, they'll fry them to crisp them up, toss them in the sauce, and bring them down. We are all excited to see what you think... but wait, as if that wasn't enough, there is even more.

They know nobody wants a soggy, steamed wing after it travels and sits waiting to be enjoyed, so to bring back that crisp, we'll add crispy bacon bits to each wing for crunch and to enhance the flavors!

THIS CREW WANTS TO WIN, and they are bringing the heat for sure. I know these events are hard to win, as there are so many great restaurants in the area, but this group put their all into this product, and I hope they get the love they deserve.

With the launch of the new menu, we added a smorgasbord of new items and gave some past favorites a fresh upgrade. Here is a look at our two versions of the Eggplant Napoleon.

The first photo shows how we serve it now: a mound of delicious radiatore tossed in a light but flavorful basil cream sauce, while the second photo shows our old plating. Same flavors, but with added value, and guess what… we even lowered the price on this popular dish!

That was our goal with this menu. To give customers as much value as possible. We want to be the place where a family of 4-6 can come out and enjoy a great meal, 7 days a week, without completely draining the bank account. It is hard these days, with the cost of everything going through the roof; this is our way of lightening the load for our guests.

Between adding more value to plates, lowering prices on multiple items, and finding ways to keep prices reasonable, this was just a small part of our menu focus.

Starting Saturday, October 10 (today), guests can capture their favorite Hideaway moments, whether it's a new menu item, a fresh cocktail, a jaw-dropping fall sunset, the changing leaves, the challenges of the golf course, a wild night out with friends, live music, a special event, or simply a moment worth remembering.

We are really pushing it today. We hope you are okay with it…

First, we are extending our Happy Hour from 2 pm to 6 pm, adding an extra hour of goodies. We have brought back some old favorites, like the Potstickers, and are offering a discount on all canned b**rs. As we have moved to a craft-forward draft line, we want to make sure Miller Lite and Michelob Ultra drinkers can still join the fun.
