🌴🍺 FLORIDA FEST 2026 🍺🌴 is finally here! 🌴🍊 Saturday is going to be a big one, but we’ve got plenty happening before we get there too.

🏃 MONDAY - Monday Run Club + Cousins Lobster
Monday Run Club heads out at 6:15pm, and Cousins Lobster is here 4-7pm. Lobster after a run feels like a pretty fair trade.

🌮 TUESDAY - Taco Tuesday
PigFish taco specials are going from 4-9pm alongside the regular menu.

🍔 WEDNESDAY - Burger & Pint Night
Cheeseburger, fries + a Calusa pint for $19. Hard to argue with that.

🧠🐟 THURSDAY - Trivia + Fish Fry
B Trivial with Syd runs 6:30-8:30pm in the brewery, and PigFish is serving Fish ’n Chips. Come hungry and bring your smartest friends.

🎶🥩 FRIDAY - Live Music + Steak Frites
Dean Johanesen is on at 6pm with Americana, Hot Club Jazz, Western Swing and more. PigFish has Steak Frites going too, so Friday night is pretty well covered.

We’ve been teasing this one long enough.

Blood Orange Florida Flavor drops this Saturday, 9/5 for FLORIDA FEST.

We took The Florida Flavor Lager and hit it with blood orange, and we’re pretty damn happy with how this one came together.

We’ve poured this one on draft before, but this is the first time Blood Orange Florida Flavor is making it into 4pks. They’ll be ready to go Saturday alongside draft pours in the taproom.

🔥 VANILLA RAGE 2025 - BACK ON DRAFT

Earlier this week we shared that a fresh batch of RAGE base went into assorted barrels. Those have a long road ahead of them, so we figured we should have something to drink while we wait.

Vanilla Rage 2025 is back on draft TODAY.

This 16% Imperial Sweet Stout spent 25 months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels before being finished with Madagascar vanilla beans. Big, rich, plenty of barrel, plenty of vanilla. Contains lactose.

Ever wonder what’s actually happening when we pour you a beer? Probably not. You order a beer, we hand you a beer. Pretty solid arrangement.

But there’s a lot going on between the keg and your glass.

We’re going to nerd out a little and show you the three different ways we pour beer at Calusa. They’re different, but they all start with the same basics: a well-maintained draft system, clean lines and clean faucets. Every tap line we pour from is cleaned regularly because we want the beer coming out of the tap to taste the way it’s supposed to.

The standard CO2 tap, this is where it all starts.

CO2 provides the pressure that gets the beer from the keg, pushing the beer through the line and into your glass. Simple enough.

The kegs sit about 120 feet from the taps, so our glycol system keeps the beer cold for that entire trip to the faucet. We can dial in the pressure each beer needs, while FOBs (“Foam On Beer” detectors) keep the lines full when a keg kicks, meaning less foam and less wasted beer when the next keg goes on.

It’s a lot happening behind the scenes for something that looks pretty simple from your side of the bar.

🍍 FRESH PINEAPPLE SELTZER IS IN THE FRIDGE

Just a reminder that we’ve got a new batch of Pineapple Seltzer available in the taproom right now.

Juicy sweet pineapple, crisp carbonation, a clean finish, and 5% ABV. Simple, refreshing, and very easy to throw in the cooler for the weekend.

This batch is cans only, so you won’t find it on draft.

Fresh RAGE went into barrels recently.

We brewed another batch of Rage & Remembrance Imperial Milk Stout and filled a pretty fun mix of barrels this time around - Four Roses, Broken Plank Rum, and Dark Door Spirits barrels. No adjuncts yet. Just RAGE and time.

Having this kind of variety sitting in barrels opens up a lot of possibilities for what we can do with future releases, and we’re pretty damn excited about it.

Those will be ready when they’re ready.

But while we wait...

We may have dug into the cellar and found a little something for Friday, stay tuned.

Florida Fest is back, and we've got a pretty solid excuse to throw one this year.

For the first time ever, we're releasing:
🍊 BLOOD ORANGE FLORIDA FLAVOR LAGER

Our Florida Flavor Lager gets a Blood Orange treatment for the very first time, making its debut at Florida Fest.

And because one special beer wasn't enough, we're also dipping into the Bliss series for five new draft-only Berliner Weisse treatments.

All five will be draft at open (11am) on Florida Fest.
