Sorry for how late I’m posting this week’s flavors. Hoping they were worth the wait!! Fall is creeping in. I wanted the menu to start reflecting that but also cling to these last vestiges of Florida’s near perennial summer. Also, I should fire my procurement manager (me) butI don’t have enough Pistachio to run all week, if you need your fix come early (like Wednesday). I am using the last batch for gelato cakes and pops this week so there will be something around for as long as it is!! Love you guys!! ♥️🙏

CLOSED WEDNESDAY + THURSDAY THIS WEEK.

There are blessings to be found and lessons to be learned from every shortfall. Arguably the second most important ingredient for an artisan Gelateria is dextrose. As many of you know I am borderline fanatical about the ingredients I use. I special order my technical sugars from European companies. They can take weeks to get here. Dextrose got here on Saturday, but somewhere along its journey, mice got to it first.

I’m expecting a rush delivery from a new supplier tomorrow. If it gets here on schedule, I can get everything made and be open on Friday. If it doesn’t, as one of my dear regulars suggested, it might be God’s way of telling me to take the week off. I’ll post the menu tomorrow with an update. ♥️🙏

Not “exactly” a vacation, but going to give myself a little break for next few weeks, try to catch up on paperwork and get the shop ready for season. Thank you for a wildly successful weekend!! I will post the menu tomorrow morning. See you all Thursday-Saturday from 3-10pm and Sunday 2-8pm ♥️🙏

Out of an abundance of caution, my unplanned mini-vacation is, unfortunately, extending to a second day.
