The Bay was voted 'Best New Park for Kids, Kayaking and Anything, Really' by Sarasota Magazine! 💙🌴
"Local leaders started talking about redeveloping 53 acres of city-owned land around the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall all the way back in 2014, and while the area had seen many upgrades in the years since, The Bay burst onto the landscape in a major way last year. Phase one of the ambitious project include 15 acres of green space, plenty of quiet spots to catch a sunset, a fun playground, a new concession stand and a calendar stocked with things to do. We’re already stoked for phase two."
