It’s easy to forget that you’re in Florida and not France on your visit to C’est La Vie. When owners Christophe and Geraldine moved to Sarasota 30 years ago, it was their mission to bring an authentic French bistro experience to America. C’est la Vie opened its doors in 1997 and was one of the first restaurants downtown to offer outdoor seating like many of the established bistros in France.

Christophe is ready to welcome you with a smile and some of our festive homemade creations. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, fresh pastries, or one of our special July 4th cakes, we’d love to celebrate with you.

A new summer dinner menu is arriving! ☀️

As we wrap up our current dinner menu this week, we’re excited to introduce a more relaxed summer selection, available Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings until 9 PM.

We’ve kept all of your favorite appetizers, along with two of our most loved signature dishes: our slow cooked Bœuf Bourguignon and our Lamb Tajine. You’ll also find a selection of crêpes, sandwiches, salads, pastas, and some of our most popular lunch favorites, creating a menu that’s simple, seasonal, and full of the dishes you love most.

This summer, we’ll also be introducing our Prix Fixe Favorites, featuring a thoughtfully paired entrée and dessert for one fixed price. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy some of our signature dishes while leaving room for something sweet.

Whether you’re joining us for a full dinner or a casual evening on the patio, we can’t wait to welcome you all summer long. ❤️

One last chance for dinner before our summer break. 🍷🇫🇷

This is the final week to enjoy our full French Brasserie dinner menu before we pause dinner service for the summer and return in October. From favorites like our Foie Gras with fig jam and toasted brioche to our signature entrées and desserts, now is the time to come experience dinner at C’est la Vie.

We’re also extending Savor Sarasota through the end of the week, featuring a three-course dinner for just $45.

Breakfast, lunch, and our bakery will remain open all summer long, but these dinner dishes won’t be back until fall.

Join us this week and make one more French dinner memory with us before we say “à bientôt” for the summer.
