Okay, I’m from New Jersey, so when it comes to pizza… I take this VERY seriously. 😂

And after living here and trying plenty of pizza around Sarasota and Manatee, my absolute favorite is Solorzano’s Pizza.

It’s the kind of Jersey-style pizza that reminds me of home — thin, foldable, and exactly what I want when I’m craving a REAL slice. ❤️🍕

So yes, this Jersey girl is officially giving Solorzano’s my #1 pizza pick in the Sarasota/Manatee area.

When in Rome…represent Italian American pizza! 🇮🇹🇺🇸🍕 Our friend, Jimmy Cirillo, brought a little piece of Sarasota all the way to the Trevi Fountain and made sure Solorzano’s was represented. Now that’s traveling in style! 💚🤍

Back to our Italian roots. 🇮🇹🍕

I’m in Torrioni, in the province of Avellino, Campania, visiting my parents and spending time in the places where our family’s story began many years ago.

Long before Solorzano’s Pizza served its first pie, the values behind it were born here: family gathered around the table, simple ingredients treated with respect, traditions passed from one generation to the next, and food made with love and meant to be shared.

Enjoying pizza here in the nearby town of San Giorgio del Sannio is a connection to the land, the people, and the heritage that shaped our family, and the tradition we proudly carry on today.

From Southern Italy to New Jersey to Sarasota, the journey has crossed generations and thousands of miles, but its heart has never changed. Every pizza we make carries a little piece of our family history with it.

Our roots are here. Our story continues in Sarasota. 🇮🇹➡️🇺🇸🍕
