Ever heard of a cocktail so strong the bar had to put a limit on it? Meet The Zombie.

Created by tiki legend Donn Beach in the 1930s, this rum-heavy cocktail earned a reputation for packing a serious punch. His restaurants famously limited guests to two Zombies per person. 😳

And according to tiki lore, the name came after a customer said the drink left him feeling like a zombie afterward. 💀😂

Today’s installment of random useless knowledge you absolutely did not need… until Wednesday Trivia Night. 😂🧠

John Ringling had a private taproom inside Ca’ d’Zan during Prohibition. Even better? The entire bar was dismantled in St. Louis and shipped by rail to Sarasota in 1925.

Because apparently even Prohibition wasn’t going to stand between Sarasota and a cocktail. 🥃😂
