Originally opened by Jacob Birdwell and named after his hometown of Coleman, TX (“CTX”), the shop began with a simple goal: to create a space for community and connection over great coffee. In January 2025, CTX Coffee became family owned and operated by the Nance family—Lori, Steve, Sara, Carter, and Katie. Together, we’ve poured our hearts into growing this little shop into something special. At

the heart of it all is Sara Heltcel, part-owner and daughter of the Nance family, who handles day-to-day operations and serves as the face of CTX Coffee.. From behind the bar to behind the scenes, Sara brings the vision, creativity, and care that fuel everything we do. We believe in slowing down and savoring the small things—a good conversation, a familiar face, and of course, a really great cup of coffee. From our shop in Sapulpa to our mobile coffee trailer, everything we do is focused on creating warm, welcoming experiences. With housemade syrups, fresh-roasted beans, and a whole lot of heart, we’re here to serve our community the best way we know how. At CTX Coffee, we don’t just serve coffee — we craft it from the ground up. All of our beans are roasted in-house, ensuring peak freshness, bold flavor, and full control over every roast profile. Whether you’re sipping a latte or grabbing a bag to brew at home, you’re getting coffee made with care, right here.
